About The Author
Growing up as a lower middle-class kid of divorced parents during the 1960s, Tony Walker had little knowledge or hope of learning about money and how best to manage it. Yet, his unique life experiences with family, people and money, along with his personal pursuit of vast educational opportunities in the field of finance, allowed Tony to shape his thinking on the true purpose of money. As a retirement planning specialist and fiduciary, Tony is the author of six books on retirement and the host and director of the long-standing weekly TV show, The WorryFree Retirement®. In his 35-year career, Tony has personally met with over 15,000 Savers, from which he has concluded this basic truth: People just want to use and enjoy their money while they still can without the fear of running out of it. Married to his high-school sweetheart Susan, together they have three kids, two grandchildren and a 90-pound Black Russian Terrier named Stella.
